Copyright & Content Policy

Our approach to imagery

The Great American Ranch Guide only displays photographs that we have documented permission to use. Where we do not yet have an authorized photo for a ranch, we show a designed profile graphic instead of a photograph. Listing information such as names, locations, activities and contact details is factual directory content.

Submitting content

Ranches and their representatives must only submit photos, text or other content that they own or are authorized by the copyright owner to license. Photographer credit alone does not establish permission. See our photo submission process for the license terms and required information.

Reporting a copyright concern

If you believe content on this site uses your work without permission, contact us and we will review promptly. We respond to credible notices quickly, and content under review can be removed from display immediately while we investigate.

Email hello@findaduderanch.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (a link, copy or description).
• The exact URL(s) on this site where the disputed material appears.
• Your name, role (e.g., photographer, rights holder, authorized agent) and contact information.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

Removal and review

Rights holders may request review or removal of any image or content at any time. When a submission's permission is revoked or expires, the associated imagery stops displaying and the listing falls back to our designed profile graphic.
